SECOND VICE PRESIDENT

ROBERT E. CORLEW

Robert “Bob” E. Corlew, from Milton, Tennessee, USA, was elected to serve as second vice president of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 97th International Convention held in Toronto, Canada July 4 through July 8, 2014.
 
Vice President Corlew is chancellor for the State of Tennessee.
 
A member of the Murfreesboro Lions Club since 1978, he has held many offices within the association, including club president, zone chairperson, district governor, cabinet secretary and council chairperson.
 
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards, including the Leadership Award, the Builder Key Award, two International President's Medals and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association bestows upon its members. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
 
In addition to his Lions activities, Vice President Corlew has been active on various boards and in several community organizations, including Boy Scouts of America, Murfreesboro City Council, Red Cross, General Sessions Judge, Discovery House Museum board of directors, Recreation Commission and Water and Sewer Board.
 
Vice President Corlew and his wife, Dianne, also a Lion and a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, have five children and four grandchildren.
